The Gathering Place

Welcome to The Gathering Place (TGP), a free psychosocial clubhouse that offers hope and dignity for adults recovering from severe and persistent mental illness. The most common diagnoses among our members are schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder and depression.

Our clubhouse boasts more than 300 adult members ages 18 and older who are pursuing healthy life choices and more independent living.

What We Offer

Educational groups

Located about a mile from Menninger, TGP offers a safe, comfortable environment where we focus on your strengths in order to enhance your life choices and help you live more independently.

Membership Requirements

Our dynamic community is growing, and we invite you to become a part of it.

To join, you must:

Have a psychiatric diagnosis from a mental health professional;
Be at least 18-years-old; and
Not be a danger to yourself or others.
