Payment for Services
If you’re admitting to a Menninger inpatient program, your Admissions coordinator will work with you to create a payment contract for services to be provided before your admission date. You or your guarantor will be responsible for payment.
Insurance
Menninger currently accepts Aetna, Cigna, Magellan and ComPsych members for the following services:
- Short-term inpatient stabilization services for adolescents and adults
- Intensive Outpatient Program for Adolescents
- Recovery Outpatient Program for Adults
- Menninger Solutions Intensive Outpatient Program (Dallas)
- Adolescent Day Treatment Program
Menninger also accepts UnitedHealthcare (Optum) for the following:
- Short-term inpatient stabilization services for adolescents and adults
- Intensive Outpatient Program for Adolescents
- Recovery Outpatient Program for Adults
- Menninger Solutions Intensive Outpatient Program (Dallas)
The Clinic also accepts ComPsych for inpatient treatment.
We help families get reimbursement from insurance companies and assist with single-case agreements for out-of-network benefits. Our Utilization Review professionals will gladly support individuals who are admitted as they attempt to collect any out-of-network reimbursement.
Because every insurance plan’s criteria for eligibility for psychiatric or behavioral treatment is different, we encourage you to contact your insurance carrier to learn about your benefit coverage and their criteria for inpatient treatment.
Please keep in mind that Menninger cannot work with an insurance company to preauthorize care before admission because our physicians aren’t able to fully assess a patient before the completion of the psychiatric evaluation. It may prove helpful to ask your referring clinician to attempt to preauthorize admission before you arrive.
We safeguard the medical, insurance and financial information related to all patients, their families and/or guarantors.
