Board certified in both psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry, Sameera Siddiqi, MD, is a staff psychiatrist on Menninger's Short-term Stabilization Service for adolescents. She is also an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine.
Her clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder and attention to intersectional identities in mental health care.
Dr. Siddiqi is a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a Distinguished College Scholar, and her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She completed a psychiatry residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of California - Los Angeles.
