A senior clinician with more than ten years of professional experience who works primarily in Outpatient Assessments, Robyn Martin has specialized training in play therapy as well as the Child Attachment Interview.
 
She became a licensed professional counselor supervisor in 2018 and enjoys teaching and sharing with new therapists. In fact, she was instrumental in the development of Menninger's Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate Fellowship program and serves as its associate director. 
 
Martin also serves as a curator of Mind Matters from Menninger, our blog on PsychologyToday.com. Her posts include Four Tips on Taking Care of Yourself Like a Therapist.
 
She earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Baylor University and a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas. She completed a post-master’s internship at the Irving Family Advocacy Center.
 
A native Houstonian, Martin enjoys traveling, running and watching trashy TV.
