Patricia Daza, PhD, ABPP, is a senior psychologist and the director of Psychology Services at Menninger. She previously served as program director for Compass, our young adults program.
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Daza is the director of Clinical Training for The Clinic and an associate professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.
Board certified in clinical psychology, Dr. Daza earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston, from which she also graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She completed an internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Daza has given presentations across the country on depression, smoking cessation, motivational interviewing and suicide prevention. She serves as a site visitor for the American Psychological Association’s Commission on Accreditation.
Dr. Daza is a tad bit obsessed with Rob Lowe, enjoys her Tex-Mex and can spend hours watching Food Network while never actually making a meal.
