Nausheen Noor, PhD, is a staff psychologist with Menninger 360, a home-based community integration program. She is also an assistant professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Noor's clinical and research interests include trauma, personality disorders and multicultural issues.
Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Personality Disorders, Psychology Research and Behavior Management and Occupational Medicine. Her current research focuses on the impact of community-based intervention on the long-term mental health outcomes in adults.
She is fluent in Urdu/Hindi and Sindhi.
Dr. Noor earned a bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Karachi in Pakistan and her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston. She completed a predoctoral internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a postdoctoral fellowship at The Menninger Clinic and Baylor College of Medicine.
