Brooke Peterson, RSPS, MHPS, works in peer recovery primarily with adolescent clients of our Menninger 360 community integration program.
A member of the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals and NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, Brooke has worked closely with the National Alliance on Mental Illness Gulf Coast affiliate as an educational presenter and panel speaker to break the stigma associated with mental illness, spread suicide awareness and advocate for minority mental health awareness. She has a passion for advocacy, specifically in mental health, addiction recovery and the LGBTQ+ community.
Brooke earned her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at the University of Utah at Salt Lake City and is pursuing a master's degree at the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work.
She loves cats.
