Anuron Mandal, MD, is a staff psychiatrist on Menninger's Stabilization Program and an assistant professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.
Board certified in adulty psychiatry, Dr. Mandal is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association of Emergency Psychiatry.
Dr. Mandal's research has been published in the American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, and he has presented on COVID-19 and its impact on patient volume and presentation in comprehensive psychiatric emergency programs.
He earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Texas A&M International University and a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine. He completed a residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
In his spare time, Dr. Mandal enjoys looking at the stars with his telescope, traveling and exploring the local food scene for ideas to bring back to his own kitchen.
