Webinar Highlights Value of Mentalizing for Adolescents
Kerry Horrell, PhD, will present Mentalizing the Adolescent Mind, a free webinar for mental health professionals, October 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT.
This is the second in a three-part virtual webinar series on families in crisis; co-providers are Caron and Yellowbrick. Continuing education will be available.
Dr. Horrell is a staff psychologist at Menninger and an assistant professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.
About the Webinar
Participants will learn about mentalizing and the crucial role this psychological skill can play in recovering from mentalizing. Dr. Horrell will also outline the common challenges related to mentalizing for the adolescent population and help plan mentalizing exercises and interventions to use with adolescents and their families.
