New York Times Interviews Menninger Psychiatrist about Olympic Boxer with OCD
Joyce Davidson, MD, was quoted in a New York Times article about Olympic boxer Virginia Fuchs, who reveals her struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder, or OCD.
An OCD expert and a long-time psychiatrist at The Menninger Clinic in Houston, Dr. Davidson explained how the rituals and obsessions that are hallmarks of the disorder can become very disabling.
Dr. Davidson is the medical director of our Compass Program for Young Adults and is an assistant professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.
