The State of Texas no longer requires a 14-day self-quarantine for individuals traveling to Texas, which is great news for individuals from other states who need the quality care that Menninger offers.

We are continuing to thoroughly screen all prospective patients and employees who arrive for work. We are happy to review the screenings with you when you call Admissions since they differ depending on what state or city you’re coming from. Please understand that these processes are in place to help us keep patients and staff safe.

The health and safety of our patients and the Menninger community is our top priority. Menninger is prepared and ready to care for patients throughout our hospital and outpatient services. Our staff members wear masks and are diligently practicing Standard Precautions, and patients are required to wear masks throughout their stay at Menninger. In addition, we also have implemented rigorous disinfecting of our facilities.

Temporarily, we no longer permit visitors except at the time of admission or when transporting an outpatient for an appointment or Pharmacy visit. Our staff will assist family members with virtual family sessions and visits. Our inpatients receive a phone to use as well.

In addition, out of an abundance of caution:

  • Using CDC guidelines, nursing staff screen all staff and essential delivery personnel before entry to any building to limit any potential exposure to Covid-19.
  • Anyone who has travelled internationally or from an American hot spot during the past two weeks will not be admitted until having self-quarantined for 14 days.
We are happily attending to the needs of current and new outpatients with an abundance of telehealth individual sessions and groups
