Menninger Offers Guidelines for Year-end Charitable Giving
The new year is almost here, but there’s still time to support the causes and organizations that matter to you, like The Menninger Clinic. When you make a charitable gift before 2022 comes to a close, you also may be eligible for certain tax benefits.
As a non-profit organization, Menninger relies on donations to The Menninger Clinic Foundation to fuel our healing mission. If you would like to support Menninger before the end of December, please use the helpful tips below to ensure your gift counts in the 2022 tax year.

Credit Card
Donate online using our secure form by 11:59 pm on Saturday, December 31.
Credit card information that is mailed must be received by Friday, December 30, to ensure time for our office to charge your card. To make your gift over the phone, call Director of Philanthropy Kirsten Schachter at 713-275-5270 or Assistant Director of Philanthropy Lou Ellen Stansell at 713-275-5693 by 6 pm CT on Saturday, December 31.

Download, complete and mail the donation form (PDF) with your check to:

Your donation form and check must be postmarked by the US Postal Service by Saturday, December 31. Check your local Post Office location for specific business hours.
Wire Transfer
Contact your financial institution to initiate the transfer and provide wire instructions for The Menninger Clinic Foundation. Please alert us of your gift at 713-275-5176 or giving@menninger.edu so that we can ensure it is used as you intend.
The funds must be received by 11:59 pm CT on Saturday, December 31. We encourage you to allow at least five business days to complete the transfer since bank processing times may vary.
