The Menninger Clinic is proud to announce Paul Daugherty Jr., MS, RN, as the organization's new vice president of Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness. In this role, Daugherty will lead the implementation of The Menninger Clinic strategic plan and corresponding operating models while leading the Strategic Initiatives department to support new opportunities as Menninger continues to innovate and grow. Daugherty reports to Menninger President and CEO Armando Colombo.

Daugherty joins the Menninger team from the Sheppard Pratt Health System in Towson, Maryland, where he served in several clinical and administrative roles over the past 15 years. Most recently, he served as the director of Residential Treatment Centers, overseeing two residential treatment centers, which consisted of 10 residential units and two special education schools. His professional service included serving as vice chair of the Residential Treatment Center Coalition for the state of Maryland and representing Sheppard Pratt Health System in the Maryland Association for Families and Youth.

"I am excited to be a part of Menninger and look forward to doing my part to further advance this world-class mental health organization,” says Daugherty. “We have an exciting opportunity to build upon what others have worked so hard to create, continue to support the talented clinicians who work here and develop innovative solutions that will make Menninger’s quality of care available to a wider range of people who need it.”

Early in his career, Daugherty became a registered nurse in the state of Maryland. He also holds a Master of Science in Business and Technology Management from Stevenson University in Maryland.
