Menninger Cosponsors 29th Annual Psychotherapy and Faith Conference
The Menninger Clinic, the Institute for Spirituality and Health and Baylor College of Medicine are copresenters of the 29th Annual Psychotherapy and Faith Conference, Tending to the Human Spirit in the Time of COVID-19. This continuing eduction conference will be held virtually Friday, November 13, from 12 to 1:45 pm CT.
Conference Overview
The coronavirus pandemic is causing psychological, emotional, and spiritual issues that individuals have to deal with while shuttered in their homes, often alone, and socially distanced from family, friends and co-workers. These problems compound the burden for those who already suffer from mental illness – anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation escalate.
This conference will address the gap in knowledge for healthcare professionals who care for individuals going through an unprecedented global pandemic crisis.
