Shawn Hirsch, PhD, is a board-certified senior psychologist with Outpatient Assessments who specializes in clinical child and adolescent psychology. He is also an assistant professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.

 

With more than 20 years of experience in psychological assessment, therapy and training, Dr. Hirsch is recognized for his expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, and possesses extensive experience in psychological evaluations and interventions for these conditions. He is involved in the training and supervision of doctoral psychology students and in professional service through contributions to various psychological organizations and advisory boards.

 

A member of the Texas Psychological Association, Dr. Hirsch earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University, his master's degree in Counseling from Oral Roberts University and his doctorate in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. He completed a predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Girls and Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health.
