Sharmia Thomas-Powell, PharmD, RPh

Dr. Thomas-Powell has been working in the pharmacy field for more than 12 years, and is currently a senior clinical staff pharmacist at Menninger. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.

She is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She also serves as a pharmacy preceptor for the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

A graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, having earned an undergraduate degree in Biology, she also earned her doctorate degree from their College of Pharmacy. She completed a post-doc fellowship there as well.

Dr. Thomas-Powell says that the collaborative relationships with colleagues that she has formed over the years makes her proud to work at Menninger.
