Mario Montelongo, MD, is a research assistant at The Menninger Clinic.
His research in has been published in the journals TVST and Graefe's Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmalogy.
He earned bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of North Texas and his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico.
In his spare time, Dr. Montelongo enjoys rock climbing, playing soccer and spending time with friends. He says working at Menninger is a privilege because it is conducting research that is novel and pushing the boundaries of what we know.
