Kristen Laster, MD

Kristen Laster, MD, is a staff psychiatrist who works on Menninger's Adult Treatment Program and in Addictions Services. She has a special interest in perinatal and reproductive psychiatry.

 

Dr. Laster is a member of the National Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. 

 

During medical school, she was awarded the Philanthropic Fundraiser of the Year for service and leadership. In 2022, she was presented the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry's Underrepresented Minority Award.

 

Dr. Laster earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology and her medical degree from Florida State University. She then completed a residency in General Psychiatry and a fellowship in Addictions Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.
