Andre Villoutreix, MHPS, RSPS

Andre Villoutreix, MHPS, RSPS, is a peer recovery specialist in Addictions Services at The Menninger Clinic. He has more than five years of experience in the recovery field and has been in long-term recovery from mental illness and substance use.

Andre is a member of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals; Texas Association of Addiction Professionals; Brazoria County Recovery-oriented Systems of Care; and the Houston Recovery Initiative.

The father of two sons and a daughter and a grandfather of two, he says he enjoys his beautiful home with his wife and dogs. He says he's as grateful for everything in his life as he knows how to be. Andre also says that he has everything he could want or wish for except money, and "when ya have everything, there's nothing to buy."
